Ecological Commitment
Harmony Dawn is committed to leaving a small footprint on our beautiful planet. We are completely off grid and self-sufficient. Most of our power comes from the sun and the wind.
Our eco building needs minimal energy input in order to heat/cool itself and responds to its environment in an organic way, much like the human body. For instance we can cool the building by blocking the sun or alternatively allowing the warmth of the sun in.
Our vision is to provide an ideal, energetic environment for self transformation and renewal as well as giving guests an experience of a greener, more sustainable and attainable future.
Designed by Carolyn Moss of Moss Sund Design, we are regarded as one of the "greenest" buildings in Canada.
Our food and cooking is an integral part of our vision. We use organic and local produce whenever possible and we grow our own herbs and produce (as much as we can).
We compost, recycle, reuse and clean with only "natural" cleaning products.
